Desired Profile : |
- Applicant should have WELL LOGGING interpretation and related experience
- Fully aware of Wire-line logging and logging while drilling (LWD) techniques
- Fully aware of curve mnemonics and descriptions
- Fully aware of problems that could happen during the drilling and logging process
- Basic formation evaluation
- Capable of identify rock parameters
- Capable of applying basic environmental corrections
- Capable of verifying logging measurements and response relation with emphasis on log principles records and quality control
- Depth shifting to apply true correlation within data
- Well logging data clean-up and editing
- SP Shale base lining
- Cased hoe gamma ray correction
- Computing curves (Density porosity, Deep resistivity, Caliper…etc.)
- Converting curve and depth units to the metric or English measurement systems.

|
|
- Bachelor’s degree in petroleum geology or geophysics
- Five years of experience in G&G commercial applications for well logging data processing
- Minimum three years experience with Powerlog
- Great computer skills ( windows operating system and office productivity tools such as Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint)
- Strong English verbal and writing communication skills
- Willing to travel for extended period of time to attend technical courses overseas
- Minimum three years experience with Powerlog
