- The training need assessment phase – primary activity is conducting training need analysis in identifying organizational problem
areas or competency needs
- Level of training need analysis – Organizational Level, Task Level, Person Level
- Analyzing causes or business strategy direction to indicate training solutions (ability vs. motivation)
- Designing training objectives (i.e. outcomes) and method of delivery to facilitate learning and transfer back to job
- Implementing actual training
- Evaluate training based on objectives
